Many of the changes coming to London because of the Olympics are obvious: stadiums, shops and Europe’s biggest urban renewal plan.

But the knock on effect of the Olympic Games is being felt right across London, as projects previously held back for reasons of money, bureaucracy and politics are now full steam ahead.

For the Evening Standard, I wrote about the other projects in London being spurred on by those magic words – “let’s do it in time for the Olympics”.
